When the Pink PSP came first came out, a lot of people Stateside were saddened that it wasn’t going to be released in the western market. During that time, a lot of people were talking about the impact it would have made should it have been released in the U.S. as well. The wait is over and the very sought after Pink PSPs are finally available to us. Girls and boys –yes, boys- would be all over it because of the impact it’d make on the PSP scene.
This isn’t just your average colored PSP, this is an official SONY casing that would make you stand out in a crowd. You’d want to whip out your pink playstation portable and hear your friends go “oooh, aaaah.” How cool would that be right? Some might go “Who cares what If you have a pink handheld playstation?” Hello? Any self-respecting PSP owner will tell you that skins are what defines your PSP after you buy it. Stay with the usual black, blue, red cases and your friends will think you’re just out of it.
The Pink colored PSP is a limited edition, so if you’re worried about everybody else getting one, don’t. Only a select few will be able to get their hands on one of these. And that’s what will separate you from the others. You no longer have to worry about taking out your PSP in public only to have the guy next to you have the exact same casing on his or her PSP.
I was also on the iffy side when it came to getting the Pink PSP. I mean it’s still a PSP underneath right? Why’d you go out and buy new clothes? New shoes? See the pattern? It’s something that sets you apart and gives you individuality. I had a boring blue casing before I got my pink one. After I got my pink one though, I felt like my playstation portable was actually more in tune with my style.

I couldn’t wait to show my PSP to my friends (they all have blue PSPs). Imagine their surprise when I whipped out my limited edition pink PSP. All of them agreed that my PSP was now more “me.” The pink isn’t just for girls. Real mean wear pink right? And if you’re not into pink, consider how many girls will come up to you and go “Oh my god, that’s so cute.” Hey, I’ve seen it happen. If you want to stand out, go get yourself a pink PSP.
